Default Chase for Crimes Related to Copyright On June 28, 2010 was published in the Official Journal of the Federation the reform of Article 429 of the Federal Penal Code (FPC), with which it establishes that crimes under Twenty-sixth title in the "Offences in the Field of Copyright" CPF itself be pursued by default, except the provisions of Articles 424, part II and 427 from the title.
The Conciliation proceedings has proved an effective alternative means for resolving disputes or conflicts generated by the various rights protected by the Federal Copyright Law. Due to the success of its effectiveness and the constant demand for this service requires the extension of the current schedule to meet the requirements of the users, so as of this June 9 in the Legal Department of the Institute meetings will be scheduled compromise from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
